Connections of Hope is not just about me!!  This book is also about you. 

It’s not about me because I wrote the book.  It’s about me because He continues to want me to do more.  He wants to reach more and more.
So God’s plan for me was to share real life stories.  His plan was to increase awareness of disabilities and offer hope to those experiencing similar circumstances.  But what’s next? 

What do you do with these stories that have touched your hearts?  Do you say….”Awww, those stories were so touching”  and place the book on the shelf?  Do you share the book’s contents with another over lunch, discuss a few people you know in the community and have it end with, “I enjoyed lunch!”?  I don’t think so.  I know God would say, “What’s next?”

In my journey to continue connecting with families raising children with special needs, the Holy Spirit seems to be constant in His pursuit for me to reach out.  I know there are thousands of stories of sadness, stories of financial difficulties, stories of loneliness, stories of hopelessness.  But I also know that there are stories of blessings.  In Luke 18:16, Jesus honors the children and calls them to Him, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”  He has blessed each and every child born on this earth by the gift of life.  With this blessing, each child is gifted with the ability to bless others.

I want to know your stories.  I want to hear how your child has blessed others.  I want to hear about the blessings and those who have received them.  It may be a single blessing.  It may be that your precious child has blessed a whole congregation, town, or population.  What stories do you have?
